Abstract

Long-term physical inactivity exacerbates hindlimb unloading-induced disuse muscle atrophy in young rat soleus muscles, possibly mediated by oxidative stress-induced protein ubiquitination via HDAC4- and NF-κB p65-induced MuRF1 mRNA upregulation.
