Abstract
This review paper explores the evolving landscape of healthcare management education and training, highlighting the necessity for innovative approaches in preparing the next generation of leaders. It addresses the integration of technological advancements, global health challenges, and patient-centred care into curricula, alongside identifying core competencies essential for effective healthcare leadership. The paper evaluates innovative teaching methodologies, such as online learning, simulation-based training, and experiential learning, for their effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes. It also examines the challenges faced by healthcare management education, including rapid technological changes and regulatory updates. Recommendations are provided for curriculum development, faculty and institutional support, emphasizing the importance of a forward-thinking approach to education. The findings underscore the critical role of educators, policymakers, and healthcare organizations in developing programs that equip future leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry.
