Redox reaction does not facilitate oxygen evolution on bismuth ruthenate pyrochlore

Abstract
The discovery presented here revealed that oxidative potentials could facilitate redox reactions and/or oxygen evolution depending on the catalytic activity at the bismuth and ruthenium sites of Bi 2 Ru 2 O 7 during electrocatalysis.
