Abstract
The present study evaluated the psychometric properties of the NEP-R scale in psychology students from two Colombian universities. Data from 272 students were analyzed, finding acceptable internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.72) and a moderate positive correlation between two applications of the test (Spearman's correlation coefficient = 0.58). These results suggest that the NEP-R scale is a reliable and stable instrument to measure environmental beliefs in psychology students, the need to expand the study sample and perform analyses in different populations to confirm these findings is identified.
