Abstract

Direct γ-C(sp 3 )-arylation of unactivated electron-rich enones remains a challenge. We have found a Pd-catalyzed method for direct γ-C(sp 3 )-arylation of unactivated β-alkoxy cyclohexenones which enables the synthesis of bioactive CBD-like compounds.
