Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic has necessitated significant changes in education. A challenging concern in dental education involves student assessment. Social distancing regulations and remote learning have made remote assessment inevitable, creating a pressing need to assure learning outcomes. Because remote assessment is unproctored, it presents unique challenges, including preventing cheating and ensuring fairness
