Abstract
This abstract explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), focusing on the drivers, challenges, and opportunities of this transformative landscape. AI is driving the adoption of advanced technologies like data analytics, machine learning, and deep learning, unlocking unprecedented capabilities. However, AI faces ethical challenges such as fairness, transparency, and accountability, technical limitations, regulatory complexities, and societal impacts like job displacement. Despite these challenges, AI offers vast opportunities across industries, such as personalized healthcare diagnostics and autonomous systems. The future of AI in the 4IR requires a nuanced understanding of these challenges and opportunities, refining AI algorithms, addressing biases, and ensuring ethical deployment. Robust regulatory frameworks, reskilling initiatives, and the synthesis of AI with emerging technologies like quantum computing and edge computing are also crucial. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence; Fourth Industrial Revolution(4ir); Opportunities, Developing Countries, Ethical Challenges.
