Abstract
The paper describes the synthesis of two manganese halide-based organic–inorganic hybrid materials that exhibit bright narrow-band green light emission. These materials are characterized by MnX 4 tetrahedral inorganic functional units, which can be excited by blue light. The compounds have high internal quantum yields and excellent thermal stability and could be used as phosphors in white LEDs, demonstrating their potential for use in advanced lighting and display systems.
