Abstract

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief. Post-publication, an investigation conducted on behalf of the journal by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team, prompted by a PubPeer post raised the following concerns: - the article contains phrases that make some passages in the article difficult to parse because they deviate from standard technical terms. - there are concerns that the authors appear to have used a Generative AI source in the writing process of the paper without disclosure, which is a breach of journal policy. The authors were requested to explain the use of these passages of text, but their explanations provided were unsatisfactory in resolving these concerns to the Editor. The Editor has lost confidence in the integrity and findings of the article and has determined it should be retracted. The authors disagree with the retraction of the article and dispute the grounds for it.
