Abstract

This paper studies the following influencing factors of microclimate environments: (1) outdoor wind environments and thermal environments of residential communities; (2) outdoor sunlight environments of residential communities; (3) architectural spatial layouts of residential communities; (4) street and open spatial layout. The wind environment, thermal environment, and sunlight environment of residential communities with different spatial layout forms are simulated using the Phoenics and Ecotect software platforms. This paper studies the interactive relationship between spatial layouts and microclimate environments of typical residential communities in China and explores the optimization of microclimate environments in residential communities through rational spatial layouts in order to reduce the energy consumption and carbon emissions of residential communities.
