Optimum Power from Decentralized Sources in the Connecting Branches of Medium Voltage Distribution Networks

Abstract
The paper describes the steps involved in short-term planning of medium voltage distribution networks. The optimum power from the decentralized energy sources in a connection branch for a selected short-term planning strategy is determined. Conclusions are drawn up regarding the minimum power losses in a long, heavily or lightly loaded branch, as well as in a short, heavily or lightly loaded one, both with connected decentralized energy sources.
