Chiral quantum optics in photonic sawtooth lattices

Abstract
This paper studies waveguide-QED effects in systems with complex photonic couplings. The authors show that these effects lead to quasi-perfect directional spontaneous emission when the emitters are tuned in resonance with the energy bands, and to complex emitter-emitter interactions when they are tuned inside the photonic band-gap of such models, widening the spin models that can be simulated using waveguide mediated interactions
