Abstract

A donor–acceptor coordination polymer (<bold>TPA-Zn</bold>) was synthesized by Zn(<sc>ii</sc>)-assisted self-assembly of an <italic>in situ</italic> generated triphenylamine (TPA) cored tristerpyridine ligand.
