Abstract
<ns4:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual female <ns4:italic>Bombus terrestris</ns4:italic> <ns4:italic/> (the Buff-tailed Bumblebee; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Apidae). The genome sequence is 393.0 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 24.7 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 14,435 protein coding genes. </ns4:p>
