Abstract
With the continued intensive development of applications and services within the framework of the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, as well as the expected rapid ubiquity of devices that support the 5G standard, the classic paradigm of centralized cloud computing faces a number of problems, including high latency, low capacity and network data transmission failures. To solve these problems, it is advisable to apply the fog computing paradigm, in which it is possible to ensure the initial processing and storage of IoT device data locally on the devices themselves, without the need to send them to the cloud infrastructure. At the same time, one of the main issues in the framework of the proposed solution is to ensure adequate and correct routing, as well as a system for managing it, which should allow to provide services with faster response and higher quality. This article presents the current state of the fog computing paradigm and ways to integrate it with the| IoT, and proposes the architecture of the fog computing platform with a description of its components. The issues of ensuring the correct routing and the formation of its management system are presented.
