The way forward in decolonising global health
Sudeep Adhikari, Irene Torres, Elizabeth Oele
Abstract
The Lancet Global Health has taken steps towards listening to and platforming the voices of low-income and middle-income country (LMIC) authors, such as its 2021 call for papers on the topic of “what is wrong with global health?” In this issue—marking the journal's tenth anniversary—the journal gave editorial responsibility to a panel of LMIC-based guest editors. We (the guest editors) selected content for this issue on “The future of global health research, publishing, and practice”, which was invited in the February issue editorial.
