Abstract

Two novel quaternary nonlinear optical phosphides AIn 3 Si 4 P 9 (A = Ca, Sr) with a unique double-helix structure are reported for the first time, resulting in a high laser-induced damage threshold, ∼7 times that of benchmark AgGaS 2 .
