Theory of entanglement and measurement in high-order harmonic generation
Philipp Stammer
Abstract
Quantum information science and intense laser driven processes are apparently two unrelated fields. In this work, the author theoretically studies how conditioning protocols for quantum state engineering of light have their roots in the quantum theory of measurement, and how this allows one to obtain nonclassical states of light using the process of high-order harmonic generation.
