Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is highly prevalent globally and requires multidisciplinary care. Here, we report key findings of a NAFLD care workshop, address knowledge gaps and highlight a path to optimise healthcare resource use, to improve outcomes in patients with steatotic liver disease. Schattenberg et al. outline discussions from a recent workshop on NAFLD care and advocate for a multidisciplinary approach to managing this complex and multifactorial disease. The authors highlight gaps in current models of care and make recommendations on optimising a multistakeholder approach in steatotic liver diseases.
