Abstract
A O 2 N˙-triggered addition 7- endo cyclization to nitro-benzo[ b ]azepines is reported with good chemo- and regioselectivity. Large-scale operation and handy N -Ts and N -Cbz deprotection reveal the utility of this methodology.
