Abstract

Two macrocycle polymeric networks (MPNs), C[4]P-TEPM and C[4]P-HEPM, were synthesized and found to exhibit iodine uptake capacities of 4.02 and 4.45 g g −1 from a KI/I 2 solution, respectively. These values are among the highest reported for iodine adsorbent materials.
