Abstract

The manuscript presents the smart view of hybrid PV-wind power generation system by implementing the fuzzy logic at required stages for exploiting the maximum efficiency of the renewable system. The extracted power is processed through quadratic boost converters(QBC) and multi-level inverters for efficient maintenance of power quality and stability in the grid. The converters in the topology are provided with the fuzzy logic controllers to enhance the power extraction from the energy conversion system and performance of the overall system. The idea of this circuit topology is configured from various analysis of conventional systems by eliminating the unbalanced issues such as unbalanced voltages, power events, stability and quality issues. The proposed circuits are simulated on the Matlab software by providing the real time data such as power events in the grid. The results are contrasted with conventional topologies and discussed in the upcoming sections of the manuscript with the detailed simulation.
