Scheffler reflector for cooking application: a review

Abstract
Solar collector like evacuated tubes collector, parabolic trough collector, flat plate collector, Scheffler reflector, etc. is generally used for desalination, coffee-making machine, agricultural, electrical energy generation, hot water and cooking food. The main aim of this present review paper is to study various researchers’ work on solar cooking system by application of Scheffler reflector. Scheffler reflector has been considered as one of the most important solar thermal application in the present era. Scheffler reflector is a fixed focus and development of an automatic tracking system applicable for the medium as well as higher temperature applications. A comparison between the Scheffler reflector with other solar cooking system also added in the review paper. At last, future work also incorporated for the research work.
