Abstract
To improve the isoprenol pathway performance and the isoprenol yield, we exploited CRISPRi screening to identify endogenous gene targets involving phosphate intermediate hydrolysis and acetyl–CoA consumption pathways and isoprenol toxicity in E. coli .
