Abstract

Integrating Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) and Satellite 6G can provide a new architecture offering improved performance and reliability for various applications. SD-WAN provides a flexible and efficient system to manage network traffic across multiple locations. At the same time, Satellite 6G aims to offer an intelligent network with high-speed connectivity, global coverage, and ultra-reliability. By integrating these two technologies, we propose an innovative architecture that can support applications in remote areas or high-latency environments. Furthermore, the proposed architecture can be optimized to meet the specific requirements of different applications, enabling new use cases such as remote medicine, precision agriculture, and autonomous vehicles. Our work contributes to the emerging Satellite 6G and SD-WAN integration field and provides a basis for further research.
