Abstract
Dermatomyositis (DM) is an autoimmune disease with no established treatment protocol, often unresponsive to traditional immunosuppressants in severe cases. Anifrolumab blocks dysregulated interferon signalling pathways implicated in DM. We report a challenging case of anti-TIF-1-γ refractory DM that responded rapidly to anifrolumab, highlighting its potential as a promising treatment option for refractory cutaneous DM.
