Enhanced photocatalytic H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> yield by single-atom Pt decorated carbon nitride sheets <i>via</i> boosting *OOH intermediate generation

Abstract
Pt-SA/g-C 3 N 4 achieves an H 2 O 2 yield of 836 μmol L −1 h −1 under visible light. Single-atom Pt promotes charge separation. In situ SERS directly observed OOH formation. DFT calculations indicate Pt inhibits OOH cleavage, enhancing H 2 O 2 production.
