Abstract

The interaction between SbF 3 and glycine in a new UV NLO material, SbF 3 ·glycine, reinforced by hydrogen bonding, results in a unique ‘head-to-tail’ ligation of functional chromophores in SbF 3 ·glycine, stimulating excellent UV NLO properties.
