Abstract

The PBI hydrogel electrolyte can reduce the amount of free water, minimize proton co-intercalation into the V 2 O 5 host, and prevent the crosstalk of V 10 O 26 (OH) 2 4− between the anode and cathode to enable durable high-areal-capacity Zn–V 2 O 5 batteries.
