Abstract
Four kinds of α-, β-, γ-, and δ-type MnO 2 with distinct crystal phases and spatial structures were prepared for catalytic combustion of 1, 2-dichloroethane with γ-MnO 2 exhibiting a superior activity due to synergy of redox property and acidity.
