Abstract
The authors present an experimental and theoretical study of the surface phonon dispersion of Bi${}_{2}$ Se${}_{3}$ , together with a determination of the electron-phonon coupling strength \ensuremath{\lambda}. Additional low-energy branches in the dispersion are possibly associated with collective electronic excitations.
