Plano de parto: Conhecimento, atitude e prática de puérperas assistidas na atenção primária à saúde

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the adequacy of Knowledge, Attitude and Practice regarding the use of birth planning in postpartum women assisted in Primary Health Care. Method: This is an interventional, evaluative study with a quantitative approach, using the survey Knowledge, Attitude and Practice on the use of birth planning in pregnant women assisted by Primary Health Care. Results: The study included 39 pregnant women with a mean age of 26 years (16-44 years). 77% were brown and 56% belonged to social class D-E. Regarding the adequacy of Knowledge, Attitude and Practice in relation to the use of the Delivery Plan, 26% had adequate knowledge, 77% had adequate attitude and 15% had adequate practice. Conclusion: This study allowed inferring that the practice and knowledge about the birth plan could be more appropriate if the guidelines were not so timely and if there was continuity in health education during prenatal consultations.
