Mg3(Bi, Sb)2-based thermoelectric modules towards near-room temperature cooling and power generation

Abstract
• State-of-the-art progress for near room temperature cooling and power generation applications based on Mg 3 (Bi,Sb) 2 system have been summarized and discussed. • High-performance thermoelectric cooling and power generation modules based on the n-type Mg 3 (Bi,Sb) 2 materials and p-type AgSb 0.94 Cd 0.06 Te 2 are proposed. • The main obstacles to the development and long-term application of Mg 3 (Bi,Sb) 2 -based cooling modules have been introduced and discussed.
