Abstract

C 80 and Sc 3 N@ I h –C 80 can be used as building blocks to assemble stable 2D lattices. These materials possess desired physical properties, including unique electronic band structures, appreciable carrier mobility, strong optical absorption, and anisotropic optical behavior.
