Tuning the Ca content of Ni–Ca–Al layered-double hydroxide catalysts for low-temperature CO<sub>2</sub> methanation

Abstract

Ni–Ca–Al LDH-derived catalysts were prepared with different Ca contents for CO 2 methanation. The catalysts with up to 6% mol of Ca exhibited a large number of active and basic sites, presenting high activity in low-temperature reactions.
