Abstract

The structure of Gd 2 (Ti 1− x Zr x ) 2 O 7 pyrochlores was investigated by means of synchrotron radiation powder diffraction, including pair distribution function analysis, Raman spectroscopy and DFT calculations to shed light on their rich defect chemistry.
