Abstract

A photoredox-catalyzed intermolecular dearomative trifluoromethylcarboxylation and/or difluoromethylcarboxylation of indoles and heteroanalogues with CO 2 and fluorinated radical precursors are achieved, which afforded a range of polyfunctionalized benzoheterocycles in high yields.
