Abstract

The catalytic conversion of NO and CO into N 2 and CO 2 mediated by gas-phase rhodium-aluminum oxides (RhAlO 0–3 and RhAl 2 O 1–4 ) has been identified. The polarized Rh–Al bond in the reactive systems is required to catalyze NO reduction by CO.
