Abstract
A rotating ring topology of particles' connections in the particle swarm optimization (PSO) is developed in the article. It provides better communication between different particles and increases the exploration ability of the proposed PSO modification. Its simplicity does not need big computational recourses. Comparative analysis has been carried out in the work. It shows good performance of the developed modification. In addition, some perspectives of its improvement are given.
