Abstract

, melatonin treatment reduced the cell proliferation, inflammatory factors releasing, TLR4 and TGF-β1/Smad3 signaling pathway. Our findings indicated that melatonin may provide a new perspective intervention to halt the hyperglycemia-induced inflammatory response of DN.
