Abstract
The 1,4-addition reaction of <italic>ortho</italic>-naphthoquinone methide (<italic>o</italic>-NQM) intermediates induced by silver-catalyzed ring formation with electron-rich aromatic compounds and α-methylene ketones has been developed.
