Abstract

Agility, Resilience, and Reliability as Supply chain trends, have gained relevance as strategies to beat the current challenges of a digitalized world. However, digitalizing or adopting digital technologies in supply chain operations create big issues, like coordination, tracking, and flexibility. On the other hand, initiatives such as Industry 4.0 are emerging as industry-level tendencies, improving supply chain operations through a high level of visibility, control, dynamic network reconfiguration, and redesign, provided by intelligent integration of technology, processes, and people. However, the roadmap to integrate the Industry 4.0 concepts into supply chain operations is not a standardized path. This opens an opportunity to propose models and useful tools aimed to ease this path definition. Thus, this study provides a framework for supply chain managers, who are intending to define their own roadmap for adopting Industry 4.0 technological drivers and Agility, Reliability, and Resilience trends.
