Abstract
Abstract A lysozyme (Lys)‐assisted liquid‐phase exfoliation technique was designed to synthesize MoS 2 nanosheets (MoS 2 ‐Lys NSs). As a novel nanozyme antibacterial agent with high peroxidase‐like catalyst activity, MoS 2 ‐Lys NSs showed good antibacterial efficacy against both Gram‐negative ampicillin‐resistant Escherichia coli (Amp r E. coli ) and Gram‐positive Bacillus subtilis . A possible antibacterial mechanism is also proposed. This work provides an effective antibacterial strategy based on the MoS 2 ‐Lys NSs antibacterial agent.
