Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is used to improve the safety and welfare of elderly people living in smart homes, as well as to aid those who take care of them. The Internet of Things (IoT) sensors are used to record the routine actions of the elderly, which are then examined to spot any unusual behaviour. This investigation delves into the cerebral In order to find out how secure a home-based anomaly detection system is, particularly for the older people who live in smart homes, researchers looked into its dependability and security. In order to find possible security flaws across all layers of an IoT device, this study compares and contrasts existing literature. Furthermore, a secure smart house model is presented in this article. The model is built to simulate an IoT network in a smart home environment using Cisco Packet Tracer. For this reason, it is recommended to gather several security measures to protect the IoT devices from the identified attacks.
