Abstract

The mitochondrial-targeting iridium( iii ) complex Ir–B(OH)2 is activated in the presence of endogenous H 2 O 2 to release the two-photon photosensitizer Ir–OH and the GSH scavenger methylquinone for amplified two-photon photodynamic therapy.
