Abstract

The whole mechanism of photocatalytic CO 2 reduction to CO by a Ru( ii )–Re( i ) supramolecular photocatalyst was successfully clarified using time-resolved infrared spectroscopy, UHPLC analysis, electrochemical measurements, and DFT calculations.
