Microfluidic instruments for nanoparticle synthesis

Abstract
Nanomaterials have been widely applied in numerous cutting-edge research fields due to their unique size effects and distinctive physical, chemical, and biological properties. With the advancement of microfabrication technologies, microfluidic instruments have been extensively employed for nanoparticle fabrication, demonstrating unique advantages in precision and controllability. In this paper, we systematically review microfluidic instruments for synthesizing nanoparticles, providing in-depth analysis and discussion for device designs based on various mechanisms. Furthermore, we analyze the current applications, development trends, and commercialization status of microfluidic technology-based nanoparticle synthesis instruments.
