Abstract
APPI combined with a PS-based technique has been proposed for the first time. Low-cost and fast method for the screening of non-polar and low polar compounds. The use of a dopant as spray solvent helps to ionize non-polar PFAS by APPI. PS-APPI allows the efficient ionization of all studied families of neutral PFAS. Neutral PFAS were found in 7 out of 16 waterproof impregnation sprays.
