Abstract

The article discusses the features of narrow-band processes at the output of the amplitude detector. Much attention is paid to the appearance of phase jumps by π when the signal envelope passes through zero and their disappearance, since the use of this feature allows us to propose a number of methods to increase the noise immunity of receiving devices. The article also uses a mathematical model built in the MATLAB environment to determine the ratio of the signal spectrum to the average frequency, at which the transition of the narrowband process to the wideband process occurs.
