Abstract
Front Cover: Similar to the ancient Chinses mythology Goddess Nüwa Mending the Sky, PVA-based hydrogels can be also used for cartilage repair applications. The preparation and modification of PVA hydrogels are summarized, and the design disciplines and future perspectives in this field are discussed.
